A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL REQUESTING
THE MARIN COUNTY URBAN THOROUGHFARE PRIORITY
SELECTION COMMITTEE TO REVIEW AND RECOMMEND APPROVAL
TO THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL'S APPLICATION FOR FUNDING
WHEREAS, the County of Marin and Cities within the County
have heretofore entered into an "Agreement for Improvement of Urban
Thoroughfare System", dated July 1, 1977; and
WHEREAS, requests for Urban Thoroughfare funds shall, after
January lst of each year, be referred to the Marin County Urban
Thoroughfare Priority Selection Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Priority Selection Committee shall review all
requests and prepare a recommended priority list to be submitted to
the County Director of Public Works for review and submittal to the
Marin County Board of Supervisors for approval; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has made application for
funding to the Priority Selection Committee for a cold planing and
resurfacing project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael respectfully requests the Marin County Urban
Thoroughfare Priority Selection Committee to review and recommend
approval for Urban Thoroughfare funding for the following project:
COLD PLANING AND RESURFACING PROJECT

California, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City held on the 20th day of February, 1979, by the following
