A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER
TO SIGN STATEMENT OF JUST
COMPENSATION
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has utilized Federal
funds to assist in the purchase of real property to implement
the goals and objectives of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City may wish to utilize such Federal funds
in the future for the acquisition of real property; and
WHEREAS, Federal guidelines require a Statement of Just
Compensation in connection with the purchase price offered to
sellers when Federal funds are utilized in the acquisition of
real property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael may
authorize a staff member to sign the Statement of Just Compensation,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Manager
of the City of San Rafael is hereby authorized to sign the Statement
of Just Compensation in connection with the purchase price offered
to sellers of real property to the City of San Rafael.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the 2nd day of April , 1979, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Nixon & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
