RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
REGARDING PURCHASE OF PRIOR SERVICE
BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to Government Code Section 31641.95,
the City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby declares that Government
Code Sections 31470.7, 31478, 31479, 31480, 31641.1, 31641.2, 31641.3,
31641.4, 31641.8, and 31641.9 shall no longer be applicable in the City
of San Rafael, a member of the Marin County Retirement System, with respect
to any employees who are hired by the City after May 7, 1979, and that the
benefits of said sections and any resolution making them applicable shall
no longer be available to said employees.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday ,
the 7th day of May , 1979, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Jensen, Miskimen, Nixon and Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
