A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY AS OPEN SPACE AND AUTHORIZING
REIMBURSEMENT FROM THE OPEN SPACE FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND
(LOT - VILLA REAL)
WHEREAS, The City of San Rafael owns property described as
Assessor's parcels 16-161-36 and 16-161-34; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is in the best in-
terests of the community to dedicate this property to public open
space uses; and
WHEREAS, open space funds are currently available for the
acquisition and preservation of open space; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the market value of
parcels 16-161-36 and 16-161-34 is $50,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of
the City of San Rafael dedicates the property described as
A.P. 16-161-36 and 16-161-34 as open space.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT open space funds be used to
reimburse the General Fund for the property.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San
Rafael, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the City Council of said City held on MONDAY the 4th
day of
JUNE , 1979, by the following vote, to wit:
