A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
ACCEPTING GRANT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT PURPOSES,
DESIGNATED YOUTH SERVICES BUREAU,
FROM THE OFFICE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE PLANNING
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael desires to undertake a
certain project designated Youth Services Bureau to be funded in
part from funds made available through the Ominibus Crime Control
and Safe Streets Act of 1973, PL 90-351, as amended, (hereafter
referred to as the Crime Control Act) administered by the Office
of Criminal Justice Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San
Rafael hereby accepts a Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes, desig-
nated Youth Services Bureau, from OCJP.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to pro-
vide all matching funds required for said project (including any
extension or amendment thereof) under the Crime Control Act and
the rules and regulations of OCJP and the Law Enforcement Assist-
ance Administration and that cash will be appropriated as required
thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received here-
under shall not be used to supplant law enforcement expenditures
controlled by this body.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City held on Monday, the 20th day of
August 1979, by the following vote, to wit:
