A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf of the
City of San Rafael a contract, lease or agreement with
County of Marin re:
Amendment to Agreement for funding for San Rafael Goldenaires and
Terra Linda Senior Citizen Organizations for July, 1979.
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
,
THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT, made and entered into this --',t k day
of 1979, by and between the COUNTY OF MARIN, a political sub-
division of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as "County",
and CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, for San Rafael 0oldenaires and Terra Linda Senior
Citizen Organization, hereinafter referred to as "Agency",
W I T N E S S E T H
WHEREAS, on June 12, 1979, County appropriated funds to assist
private, non-profit agencies during the month of July 1979, and

WHEREAS, County and Agency are parties to an agreement for 1978-
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend that agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties do hereby agree as follows:
1. County will allocate $968.97 to Agency, which amount will
be deducted from Agency's request for funds for fiscal year 1979-80.
2. Payment shall be made upon demand.
3. The termination date of said agreement shall be changed to
July 31, 1979.
4. To all other intents and purposes said agreement shall remain
in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused their duly
authorized representatives to execute .the within Amendment the day and year
first above written.
