RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL REGARDING GENERAL PLAN
INTERPRETATION ON LUCAS VALLEY ROAD WEST OF LOS GAMOS DRIVE,
COUNTY ASSESSOR'S PARCEL EASTERN PORTION 165-010-80
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Planning Commission on February 27, 1979,
and August 28, 1979, held a public meeting to discuss the General Plan land
use designation of Lucas Valley Road west of Los Gamos Drive, and
WHEREAS, the Commission previously determined that the proposed
office use is appropriate and adopted a resolution recommending a multi -use
activity designation to the Council, and
WHEREAS, the property is on the border between an Undeveloped
Residential and Open Space Review Area and a Multi -Use Activity Area, and
WHEREAS, the property is physically isolated from the adjacent
residential areas by topography and closely related to the multi -use
activity area by access and noise characteristics,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
that the property on Lucas Valley Road west of Los Gamos Drive (County
Assessor's Parcel Portion 165-010-80) is determined to be in the Multi -Use
Activity Area.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City hel d on Tuesday the fourth day of
September 1979, by the following vote, to wit:
