RESOLUTION BY THE SAN RAFAEL CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING EXTENSION OF CITY
PARKS MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH
THE SAN RAFAEL REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael entered into a Repayment Contract
for Demonstration Projects with the San Rafael Redevelopment Agency
on November 15th, 1976; and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Redevelopment Agency under the terms of
the Repayment Contract agreed to reimburse the City of San Rafael for
costs and expenses for demonstration projects; and
WHEREAS, the Demonstration projects included in the Repayment
Contract for reimbursement were the San Rafael Community Center, Beach
Park, and Pickleweed Park; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the Repayment Contract required the San
Rafael Redevelopment Agency to reimburse the City for costs and expenses
for these projects for a five-year period for each project commencing
with the date that each project was open for public use; and
WHEREAS, the five-year period for Beach Park expired on August 13,
1979 and the five-year period for Pickleweed Park expires on October 30,
1979; and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Redevelopment Agency desires to renew
the Repayment Contract with the City of San Rafael for an additional
period of five years on Beach Park and Pickleweed Park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of San Rafael that
the Repayment Contract with the San Rafael Redevelopment Agency for
reimbursement of costs and expenses for demonstration projects be
extended for an additional period of five years for Beach Park and
Pickleweed Park. The Repayment Contract for Beach Park is hereby
extended to August 13, 1984 and the Repayment Contract for Pickleweed
Park is hereby extended to October 30, 1984 by this Resolution.

California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a REGULAR meeting
of the Council of said City held on the 4TH day of SEPTEMBER,
