A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL ACCEPTING GRANT DEED OF ADDITIONAL
RIGHTS-OF-WAY, SHANNON SUBDIVISION, SAN RAFAEL, CA.
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience, necessity and
welfare require that the rights-of-way hereinafter mentioned be
accepted and used for the benefit of the public of the City of
San Rafael, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael, California, does hereby accept that
certain grant deed for and on behalf of the City of San Rafael
and the rights-of-way described therein, all as more particularly
described and set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and in-
corporated herein by reference, and the Clerk of said City is
hereby directed to cause said deed to be duly recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder of the County of Marin, State of
California, forthwith upon the adoption of this Resolution.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the Council of said City held on the 6th day of February, 1978,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN; Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN; None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Nixon

GRANT DEED
RAY J. FINEGAN and MARY JEAN FINEGAN, his wife, HAROLD GOODMAN
and RUBY GOODMAN, his wife, and MARTIN SHIMAN and KAY SHIMAN, his
wife, the first parties, hereby grant to THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, a
Municipal Corporation, the second party, all that real property situated
in the City of San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California, and
bounded and described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the northwesterly right-of-way line of Shannon
Lane, as shown on the Map of Shannon Lane recorded in Book 16 of
Record Maps at page 88, and found in the Marin County Recorder's Office,
said point being on the intersection of a common property line between
Lot Five, Lot Seven, and said right-of-way as shown on said map, thence
N 560 W, 1.0 foot, thence N 340 E, 12.0 feet; thence S 560 E, 2.842 feet,
thence along a curve to the left, having a radius of 40.00 feet, for an
arc length of 12.19 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing 20.9 square feet, more or less.
PARCEL "Y":
Beginning at a point on the northwesterly right-of-way line of Shannon
Lane, as shown on the Map of Shannon Lane recorded in Book 16 of
Record Maps at page 88, and found in the Marin County Recorder's Office,
said point being on the intersection of a common line between Lot Five,
Lot Seven, and said right-of-way as shown on said map; thence along a

12.19 feet; thence, N 56° W, 2.842 feet; thence, N 34°.E, 12.0 feet;
