AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A LEASE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael, hereinafter referred to as
City, has title to property with a two level parking structure lo-
cated at Lootens and Third Street; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the construction of the ramps in
this facility, there exists two small compartments with impeded head-
room; and
WHEREAS, Hector Rubini, hereinafter referred to as Lessee,
has submitted a lease, hereinafter referred to as "Exhibit A" as
though fully set forth herewith; and
WHEREAS, the City has no near term need for these compart-
ments; and
WHEREAS, Lessee will be obliged to make certain leasehold
improvements to make these compartments usable;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Rafael
hereby:
RESOLVES, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized, on
behalf of the City of San Rafael, to execute the lease as described
in "Exhibit A" attached hereto.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on Tuesday , the 21st day of February ,
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Mulryan, Miskimen, Nixon, and Vice -Mayor Jensen
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Mayor C. Paul Bettini
