A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF POLICE
RADIO COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City staff to
solicit bids for a Police Radio Communications System; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were solicited for
each item; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been reviewed by City staff:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of San Rafael that the following action be taken:
That the award be made to the Motorola Corporation as the low
bidder for the new Police Radio Communications System, bid in the amount
of $53,875.56.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday, the
third day of April, 1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
