A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF POLICE MOTORCYCLE
FROM THE EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUND
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City staff to
solicit bids for a Police motorcycle; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were solicited for
each item; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been reviewed by City staff:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of San Rafael that the following action be taken:
That the award be made to Harley Davidson of San Rafael as the
sole bidder for a 1978 motorcycle bid in the amount of $4,178 minus
$1,500 trade-in allowance for a net bid of $2,687.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on
Monday, the seventeenth day of April, 1978, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
