A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF POLICE UNDERCOVER
VEHICLES AND PUBLIC WORKS VEHICLES
UTILIZING EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City Staff to solicit
bids for five (5) police undercover vehicles and two (2) public works vehicles;
and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were solicited for each
item; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been reviewed by the City Staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council that
the following action be taken:
Hertz be designated as low bidder for five (5) police undercover vehicles
and two (2) public works vehicles.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday, the 15th day of
May, 1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
