A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL ORDERING AN ANNEXATION
OF TERRITORY PURSUANT TO THE MUNICIPAL
ORGANIZATION ACT
WHEREAS, Linda Caldwell made application to the Marin Local Agency
Formation Commission for approval of an annexation proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Marin Local Agency Formation Commission, by Resolution
No. 78-7, adopted on May 10, 1978, approved said annexation and designated the
City of San Rafael as the conducting agency for further proceedings; and
WHEREAS, this application was accompanied by written consent signed
by all owners of land within the territory proposed for annexation and the Local
Agency Formation Commission authorized the conducting agency to complete
further proceedings with waiver of notice, hearing and election requirements; and
WHEREAS, said annexation, known as the Angiolini Annexation, consists
of pre -zoning from County RMPO.5 to City of San Rafael R -1-B-1; and
WHEREAS, the subject territory which is uninhabited is located inthe
County of Marin and is more specifically described in the map and legal description
attached to this resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council that:
Section 1. This proposal is hereby approved subject to the following
terms and conditions: That the annexation territory shall be withdrawn from County
Service Area No. 19 pursuant to Section 25210.90 of the Government Code which
provides that territory in a county service area which is included within a city by
reason of annexation shall be automatically excluded from the county service area
upon the effective date of its inclusion in the City.
Section 2. The annexation is proposed for the following purposes: Obtain
municipal services for which property owner is presently ineligible.
The Clerk of the City of San Rafael is hereby directed to file a certified
copy of this resolution with the Executive Office of the Local Agency Formation
Commission of the County of Marin.

that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
regul ar meeting of the Council of said City on Monday the 15th day

ANNEXATION OF THE LANDS OF ANGIOLINI ET AL
TO
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
That certain real property situate in the County of Marin, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the northerly corner of that certain tract of land conveyed
by Mary A. Tippetts to Joseph Corti, et al, by Deed dated September
29, 1917, and recorded in Book 192 of Deeds at Page 147, Marin
County Records; running thence along the northeasterly boundary of
said tract (192 Deeds 147) South 56'001 East, 187 feet, to a point on the
existing boundary of City of San Rafael; thence along the said boundary
of City of San Rafael South 34°00' West, 300 feet; thence leaving said
boundary of City of San Rafael North 56°00' West, 187 feet, to a point
in the northwesterly boundary of said tract (192 Deeds 147); thence
along said northwesterly boundary of said tract (192 Deeds 147) North
34°00' East, 300 feet, to the point of beginning.
Containing 1. 29 acres more or less.
