A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL ENDORSING THE APPLICATION OF THE GOLDEN GATE
BRIDGE, HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT FOR TRANS-
PORTATION MODE INTERFACE FACILITIES FUNDS
WHEREAS, Section 99315 of Senate Bill 1879 provides monies
for the improvement of transportation mode interface facilities;
and
WHEREAS, the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation
District is applying for a portion of these monies to help construct
an off-street transportation center in the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, construction of such a center in San Rafael is
consistent with City of San Rafael policies; and
WHEREAS, there will be no financial obligation on the part
of the City of San Rafael for any endorsement to the Golden Gate
Bridge, Highway and Transportation District's application for
funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael, California, does hereby endorse the application
of the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District for
transportation mode interface facilities funds to help construct an
off-street transportation center in San Rafael.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the 7th day of August, 1978, by the
following vote, to wit:
