RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO NORMA WALL
WHEREAS, after thirty years of devoted and dedicated service to the
citizens of this community NORMA WALL has submitted her
resignation as a member of the Parks and Recreation Com-
mission; and
WHEREAS, in addition to her many faithful years as Commissioner,
NORMA WALL holds the unique distinction of being one of
the first members of the Parks and Recreation Commission,
and as its first Chairman actually officiated at the open-
ing ceremony for Albert Park in 1941; and
WHEREAS, NORMA WALL has been instrumental in the development and
expansion of the Parks and Recreation Department in all
facets of activities including a variety of programs for
all age groups, from the Tiny Tots to our very dynamic
senior citizens;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Rafaels does
hereby commend NORMA WALL and extend to this remarkable
lady its appreciation for her valuable contribution of
time and effort for the enrichment of this community.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City held on Monday , the 1st day of November ,
1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and
Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
