RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO ED MEYER
WHEREAS, EDMOND MEYER, one of San Rafael's most outstanding citizens
and business leaders is being honored on the occasion of
his 50th anniversary as a member of the San Rafael Rotary
Club; and
WHEREAS, this tribute is paid to ED MEYER for his unfailing applica-
tion of the highest ethical standards and ideals of service
to his personal, business and community life; and
WHEREAS, not only has ED MEYER been the first to contribute to any
and all charitable activities and functions, but has always
been the greatest benefactor; and
WHEREAS, on numerous occasions ED has shared his home to sponsor many
social gatherings for the preservation and promotion of the
good fellowship so inherent to Rotarians;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby con-
gratulates ED MEYER on receiving this distinguished honor
and urges his continual participation in the many worthwhile
causes which are of great benefit to the citizens of our City.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
held on Monday , the 1st day of November , 1976,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor
Bettini
