A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL APPROVING THE APPLICA-
TION FOR COUNTY PARK AND RECREATION LOCAL
ASSISTANCE MONEYS FOR THE PICKLEWEED PARK
PROTECT
WHEREAS, the Marin County Board of Supervisors have approved a
Local Assistance Program, which provides funds to local jurisdictions for
the acquisition and development of park and recreation facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Marin County Park and Recreation Department has
been delegated the responsibility for the administration of the program and
setting up the necessary procedures governing fund applications by local
agencies; and
WHEREAS, said procedures require the applicant to certify by
,
resolution the approval of application prior to submission to the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby:
1. Approves the filing of an application for 1977-78 fiscal year
Local Assistance Funds for the following project:
Pickleweed Park $100,000 for each of the next two years.
2. Appoints City Manager William J. Bielser as Agent of City to
act as contact person for purposes of this project.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday
the 15th day of November , 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
