RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SAN RAFAEL ORDERING
CONSOLIDATION OF THE DIXIE SCHOOL DISTRICT GOVERNING
BOARD MEMBER ELECTION, MARIN JUNIOR COLLEGE DISTRICT
GOVERNING BOARD MEMBER ELECTION, AND THE MARIN COUNTY
BOARD OF EDUCATION, TRUSTEE AREA NO. 3 GOVERNING BOARD
MEMBER ELECTION WITH THE SAN RAFAEL CITY ELECTION TO BE
HELD ON MARCH 8, 1977.
WHEREAS, the Boards of Trustees of the Dixie School District and Marin
Junior College District and the Marin County Board of Education have ordered a
Governing Board Member Election for March 8, 1977; and
and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Election is to be held on the same date;
WHEREAS, the boundaries of said districts and Trustee Area No. 3 of the
Marin County Board of Education fully or partially coincide with the area encom-
passed by the San Rafael City Election; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections1111.6 and 1333 of the California Educa-
tion Code, said Boards have requested this Council to approve and order consolida-
tion of the San Rafael City Election with said Governing Board Member Elections
on March 8, 1977;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council as follows:
1. That it is hereby approved and ordered that the Dixie School Dis-
trict, the Marin Junior College District and the Marin County Board of Education,
Trustee Area No. 3, Governing Board Member Elections be, and the same hereby are
consolidated with the San Rafael City Election to be held on March 8, 1977, in
accordance with said requests.

certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adjournedmeetin of the City Council of said City held on Monday
