A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
ESTABLISHING PROJECT PRIORITIES UNDER THE
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT.
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has participated through the County
of Marin concerning the Housing and Community Development Act; and
WHEREAS, this participation has been extended through fiscal year
1977/78; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held public hearings to determine
community needs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following projects are
established as the Council's priorities under the Housing and Community
Development Act:
$140,000 Street reconstruction/Removal of barriers for the
handicapped
50,000 Housing assistance
50,000 Albert Park/Davidson School renovation
75,000 Construction of new fire station at the Civic Center
25,000 Reimbursement for staff services
50,000 Falkirk restoration
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at
a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday
the 3rd day of January , 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor
Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
