A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
CONCERNING THE PURCHASE OF VARIOUS ITEMS
OF MACHINERY FOR THE EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT
FUND.
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized City staff to
solicit bids for various items of machinery; and
WHEREAS, specifications were drawn and bids were solicited for
each item; and
WHEREAS, these bids have been reviewed by the City staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council
that the following actions be taken:
1. DeLong Chevrolet be designated as low bidder for the purchase
of one 3/4 -ton and one 1 -ton utility pick-up truck.
2. Sullaire Pacific, Inc. be designated as low bidder for two air
compressors.

3. Nelson Chevrolet be designated as low bidder for eight police
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bids received for the replacement
of two dump trucks be rejected and that the staff be authorized to negotiate
directly with local dealers for the purchase of these trucks.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at
a rP�� ar meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday ,
the �r(i day of January , 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
