A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
IN REGARDS TO NOTIFICATION OF AN AWARD BY
THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION.
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael submitted a grant application for
certain projects under the Accelerated Public Works Act of 1976; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has received preliminary notification
that the Sewer Reconstruction Project has been funded;
that:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to sign all necessary
agreements concerning this award by the Economic Development Administration.
2 . The City staff is authorized to negotiate an engineering contract
to provide for the necessary specifications required to formally bid the above
described project.
3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to sign the necessary
contractual documents engaging the engineering firm selected to complete the
design specifications for this project.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at
a regular
meeting of the Council of said City held on
