A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING
SAN RAFAEL CAYES TO APPEAR ON BEHALF OF THE SAN RAFAEL
CITY COUNCIL FOR THE EXPRESS PURPOSE OF APPLYING FOR A
CHANGE OF ZONING FROM P -C TO P -D ON ASSESSOR'S PARCELS
9-071-08 AND 9-082-04
WHEREAS, the owners of the area known as San Rafael Cayes Unit
One and consisting of 40.5 acres have filed for a change of zoning from
P -C to P -D; and
WHEREAS, circumscribed within such area are two small parcels
owned by the City of San Rafael which consist of 6,156 square feet (AP
9-082-04, Storm Drainage Pump Site and Pump); and
WHEREAS, if the larger San Rafael Cayes Unit One were to be re-
zoned, it would be desirable that the two smaller City -owned parcels con-
currently have the same zoning change applied to them; and
WHEREAS, the owners of San Rafael Cayes Unit One cannot initiate
a zoning change on property owned by the City of San Rafael without permis-
sion of the City of San Rafael;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael is hereby empowered to approve the standard Planning Department
form authorizing San Rafael Cayes, Incorporated to appear on behalf of the
City of San Rafael for the express purpose of applying for a change of zon-
ing from P -C to P -D on the two aforesaid mentioned parcels.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at
a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday , the
22nd day of February , 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and
Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
