A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL REGARDING THE MONIES GRANTED TO THE
CITY FROM THE ROBERTI-Z'BERG URBAN OPEN SPACE
AND RECREATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has been notified by the State
Department of Parks and Recreation that it will be receiving monies from the
Roberti-Z'berg Urban Open Space and Recreation Act; and
WHEREAS, these monies will total $27,352; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of this Act and the San Rafael City
Council that these monies be used for the enhancement of the City's environment
and parks and recreation system;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council
appropriates the monies received under this Act to the Albert Park/Davidson
School Project; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a second priority item the Council
authorizes the appropriation of this money toward the Falkirk Project; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized to sign and execute all appropriate documents required under this Act.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday, the
seventh day of March, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN:Jensen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN:None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN:Miskimen
