A RESOLUTION SETTING FEE FOR AMENDMENTS TO GENERAL PLAN
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
WHEREAS, a fee for amending the General Plan has not been
established since all amendments heretofore have been initiated by
the City of San Rafael;
WHEREAS, there is now a probability that individual citizens
may request, from time to time, amendments to the General Plan and
submit development proposals through the zoning process.
WHEREAS, the City Council has established a policy that
development applications shall have fees which reasonably relate to
the cost of processing such applications; and
WHEREAS, the processing of an amendment to the General Plan
involves an amount of time and work on the part of City Staff that is
comparable to the processing of a zoning change and includes the same
number of Public Hearings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a fee be established for
applications to amend the General Plan in the amount of $305.00.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on Monday the 20th day of
the following vote, to wit:
