HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Resolution 5328 (Urban and Coastal Park Bond Act)RESOLUTION NO. 5328 A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL APPROVING A PRIORITY PLAN FOR EXPENDITURE UNDER PROVISIONS OF THE NEJEDLY-HART STATE, URBAN AND COASTAL PARK BOND ACT OF 1976 A RESOLUTION of the San Rafael City Council approving a Priority Plan for Expenditure under provisions of the NEJEDLY-HART STATE, URBAN AND COASTAL PARK BOND ACT of 1976. WHEREAS, the County of Marin, the incorporated cities of the County of Marin and certain community service districts are eligible for funding assistance for parks and recreation projects as a result of the passage of the NEJEDLY-HART STATE, URBAN AND COASTAL BOND ACT of 1976; WHEREAS, this Act calls for the establishment of a Priority Plan for Expenditure, which is approved by fifty percent (50%) of the cities and districts representing 50 percent (50%) of the population of the cities and districts within the county; and WHEREAS, it is the intent of all involved to arrive at an equitable distribution of available funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Rafael approves the attached Priority Plan for Expenditure marked Exhibit "A" as recommended by the Marin County Board of Supervisors. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the of the City of San Rafael 1977, by the following vote: City Council on the fifth day of July AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini NOES.
