RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL REDESIGNATING
CERTAIN FUNDS UNDER THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT ACT
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael in participation with the other cities
of Marin County and the County of Marin participate as an urban county in
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, the joint powers agreement permits certain discretion between
individual participants as to the type of project which shall be -designated
within their boundaries; and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council has met in public hearing to discuss
the matter on June 27, 1977;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the San Rafael City Council determines
that the $55,000 of San Rafael's 3rd year entitlement shall be used for either
site acquisition or site improvements on projects associated with the creation
of Senior Citizens housing for low and moderate income individuals.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at an
adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on Monday,
the twenty-seventh day of June, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Nixon
