A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING
OF A LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf
of the City of San Rafael a lease or agreement with
County of Marin, Amending Agreement for Fire Protection Services in
and Around County Service Area No. 19 (including maint. of fire hydrants)
A copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part
hereof.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on Tuesday the sixth _ day of September
19 77 , by the following vote, to wit:

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES
IN AND AROUND COUNTY SERVICE AREA 19
THIS AGREEMENT, made'and entered into this 20th day of September
1977, by and between CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, hereinafter referred to as "City",
COUNTY OF MARIN, a political subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter
referred to as "County", and COUNTY SERVICE AREA 19 of the County of Marin,
hereinafter referred to as "Service Area",
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the parties have heretofore entered into an Agreement dated the
17th day of February, 1976, and it is now their mutual desire to amend said
Agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing premises, the parties
hereto do hereby agree as follows:
1. That paragraph A(6) of the aforementioned Agreement shall be amended
to read in the following manner:
"Assume all other fire protection responsibilities and supervision
of fire protection services including maintenance of fire hydrants
beyond those enumerated herein throughout Service Area upon the
date designated in paragraph A(4) above."
2. That in all other respects the Agreement of February 17, 1976, shall
remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have set their hands the day and
year first above written.
