PRESENTS THIS

WHEREAS, on the 27th day of October, 1976,
Benjamin Albritton voluntarily resigned as a member of
the Planning Commission after having rendered five years
of able, dedicated service to the City of San Rafael;
and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Albritton, by virtue of
his expertise as a professional Civil Engineer, made
numerous contributions in areas requiring technical
proficiency; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Albritton's expertise was
reflected in his guidance during the formulation and
adoption of our present General Plan and, particularly,
in the development and approval of the Density Projec-
tion Technique, the Planned Development Zone, and the
"Environmental Assessment Procedures Manual";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council hereby accepts Commissioner Albritton's
resignation and extends him sincere appreciation for
the unselfish contribution he has made to the betterment
of the community's planned environment and the welfare
of its citizens.
