A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS VEHICLES,
EQUIPMENT OR SUPPLIES BY SEALED BID OR PUBLIC AUCTION
WHEREAS, it is the policy determination of the San Rafael City Council to
dispose of all surplus vehicles, equipment or supplies in an efficient manner;
and
WHEREAS, the City has charged the Purchasing Division with the responsibility
of disposing all surplus vehicles, equipment or supplies;
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT:
1. The sale of surplus vehicles, equipment, or supplies, may be conducted by
sealed bid or public auction; and
2. The minimum price for all surplus vehicles, equipment or supplies may be set in
advance of the advertisement for sealed bids or public auction by the City Manager.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
regul ar meeting of the City Council of said City held on Monday
the 21St day of November , 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN Nixon
