RESOLUTION AUTIiORIZING PAYMENT TO McKEON C014STRUCTION
COMPANY FOR LANDSCAPING COSTS, BAHIA DE RAFAEL INDUSTRIAL
PARK ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, COUNTY OF
MARIN. STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of March, 1973, the City of San Rafael
entered into an agreement with Silva's Pipeline, Inc. to undertake
the work and improvements to be done in Bahia de Rafael Industrial
Park Assessment District, City of San Rafael, County of Marin, State
of California; and
11HEREAS, subsequent to the completion of the work to be done
under the construction contract with Silva's Pipeline, Inc., the City
of San Rafael required that the landscaping of the Bellam Boulevard
Median be undertaken; and
WHEREAS, McKeon Construction Company, owners of the property,
entered into a contract with T11T Company to perform the work of land-
scaping,and accompanying improvements,at a cost of $3,257.00; and
WHEREAS, the said work of landscaping,and accompanying improve-
ments,has been completed to the satisfaction of the Project Engineer
and the Engineer of Work for said assessment district; and
WHEREAS, on the 11th day of August, 1975, McKeon Construction
Company submitted to the City of San Rafael its statement in the
amount of $8,257.00 for the completed improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED'by the City Council of the City
of San Rafael, Marin County, California, as follows:
1. The Director of Finance of the City of San Rafael is hereby
authorized and directed to make payment for the landscaping of the
Bellam Boulevard Median, and accompanying improvements, upon receipt

of an authorization for such payment from Ely Caillouette, Jr.,
Director of Public Works of the City of San Rafael and Engineer of
Work for the project, setting forth the amount of such payment.
2. Said Director of Finance is directed to prepare a warrant
in the amount of the required payment of $8,257.00, which warrant is
to be drawn to the order of McKeon Construction Company and is to be
paid out of the proceeds of the assessments levied and bonds issued
in said proceedings.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Marin
County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 5th day
of April, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: None
