RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
TAMMY SLOVENSKY
WHEREAS, CAPTAIN TAMMY SLOVENSKY has been a member of the
San Rafael Law Enforcement Explorer Post No. 303 for the past four
years; and
WHEREAS, it is with deep regret that her resignation has
been accepted by the San Rafael Police Department; and
WHEREAS, TAMMY SLOVENSKY, through her work and dedication
as Captain to this Explorer Post has elevated the position of the
"Explorer" in the eyes of the Department and the position of the
Department within the community; and
WHEREAS, TAMMY SLOVENSKY has served as the Captain of the
Explorer Post for a period of one year, the first female to hold this
position in any Explorer Post in Northern California; and
WHEREAS, the Explorers will in the future uphold the
standards she has set and work towards the betterment of the Depart-
ment and ourselves as responsible citizens. We wish to thank TAMMY
for her dedication and friendship.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of SAn Rafael that TAMMY SLOVENSKY be recognized for her service
to the community and that the City Council and the citizens of the
City of San Rafael express their thanks and appreciation.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a
