RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR Fire Apparatus
WHEREAS, sealed bids or proposals were received by the City
Clerk for the furnishing of Fire Apparatus
and all such bids or proposals were publicly opened, examined and declared;
and
WHEREAS, the bid or proposal of Western Fire Equipment Co., 440
Valley Drive, Brisbane, CA 94005 at the quotation stated in
his bid, was and is the lowest responsible bidder or proposal,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Agent
is authorized to issue a Purchase Order on behalf of the City to the success-
ful bidder in accordance with the terms, specifications, and general provi-
sions of said bid or proposal.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other bids or proposals are hereby
rejected and the City Clerk is directed to return all accompanying certified
checks, cash, and bond of said unsuccessful bidders.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk, hereby certify, that the foregoing
resolution was duly introduced and adopted at a meeting of the City Council
held on the 3rd day of May , 19 Z_E_ by the following vote to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
