RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL OF ITS
INTENTION TO PASS AN ORDINANCE SETTING BAIL SCHEDULES FOR CERTAIN
MUNICIPAL CODE VIOLATIONS
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the City of San
Rafael to pass an ordinance setting bail schedules for certain Municipal Code
violations set forth in Exhibit A incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, said bail schedule must be approved by the Judges of the
Municipal Court, and
WHEREAS, Article III, Section 54 of the City Charter provides that the
City has the right and power to prescribe fines, forfeitures and penalities for the
violation of its ordinances,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael, upon approval of the aforesaid bail schedules, intends to pass an ordinance
setting said bail schedules.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael
hereby requests that the Judges of the Municipal Court approve the bail schedules
attached hereto and marked Exhitit A.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City held on the 3rd day of May
1976, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN : Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN : None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN : None
