A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL APPROVING THE ANNEXA-
TION TO THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS THE
"OLSON ANNEXATION"
WHEREAS, the Marin County Local Agency Formation Commission has
approved the Olson Annexation; and
WHEREAS, this action has been approved by the San Rafael Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the resolution of the Local Agency Formation Commission
permitted the annexation to occur without hearing or notice; and
WHEREAS, property owner(s) have signed petitions formally requesting
annexation to the City of San Rafael and these petitions are attached as
Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, a formal description of the annexation is attached as
Exhibit "B";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
San Rafael, as follows:
1. That the annexation of uninhabited territory contiguous to the City
of San Rafael designated as "Olson Annexation" be and the same hereby is appro-
ved upon the terms contained in the petitions signed by the property owners.
Said territory is described as Exhibit "B" attached hereto.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at
a regul ar meeting of the Council of said City on Monday the
17th day of November , 1975, by the following vote, to wit:

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
(Olson Annexation)
The undersigned property owner(s) hereby make application to the City
of San Rafael for annexation to said City of the hereinafter described territory
in accordance with the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 of the
State of California.
Prior to the circulation of this petition the proponents obtained the approval
of the Local Agency Formation Commission to the annexation proposal.
Said territory is uninhabited territory, and is situated adjacent to the City
of San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California.
The undersgined petitioners are the owners of not less than one-fourth
of the land in the territory proposed to be annexed to the City of San Rafael,
by area, and by assessed value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll
of the City of San Rafael and County of Marin in which the territory is situated.
Said territory is bounded and more fully described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto
and made a part hereof.
Petitioners hereby agree that the property within the territory proposed
to be annexed shall be taxed to pay any bonded indebtedness or liability of
the City of San Rafael contracted prior to or existing at the time of annexation
equally with other residents of said City, and further agree to pay to the City of
San Rafael an annexation fee of $75.00.

Beginning at a point on the existing City Limit line of San Rafael and
the northerly right of way of Pt. San Pedro Road, said point bearing
S 630 12' W, 163.60 feet from the southwest corner of Lot 44 of Harbor
Estates Subdivision as shoe%n on the map filed in Book 9 of claps at Page
41, Marin County Records; thence leaving said San Rafael City Limits
S 26° 48' E, 100 feet to the southerly boundary of Pt. San Pedro Road;
thence S 28° 24' 11" E, 16.54 feet; thence S 24° 52' 57" E, 71.51 feet;
thence S 25° 35' 47" E, 86.60 feet; thence S 25° 52' 29" E, 27.85 feet;
thence S 22° 44' 00" E, 10 feet more or less to the point of intersection
with the existing City Limit line of San Rafael; thence easterly, northerly
and westerly along said City Limit line to the point of beginning.
