A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL MODIFYING ITS ORIGINAL
REQUEST FOR MONIES UNDER THE HOUSING
AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT.
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has signed a Cooperation Agreement
with the County of Marin to participate in the Housing and Community Develop-
ment Act; and
WHEREAS, projects were initially set by the San Rafael City Council
at a funding level established by the County of Marin in conjunction with the
Department of Housing and Urban Development; and
that:
WHEREAS, this funding level has been increased;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council
1. Property acquisition of the Menzies property be added to the
list of second -year projects. Requested allocation $60, 000.00.
2. Master planning for recreational facilities at the Davidson
School site be added to the list of second -year projects. Re-
quested allocation $10,000.00.
3. With reference to the Merrydale and San Pedro Roads project
the City Council finds that this is a project of County -wide
significance and should, therefore, be funded under the County
of Marin's appropriation. The City Council also endorses this
project for consideration by the Priority Setting Committee
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular
meeting of the City Council of said City held on Monday
the 1st day of December , 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and
Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
