RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
H. "RUSTY" GHILOTTI
WHEREAS, H. "RUSTY" GHILOTTI, a life -time resident and one
of San Rafael's most highly respected citizens, will take a well-
deserved retirement after forty-four years of exceptional service
with the Marin Municipal Water District; and
WHEREAS, during this remarkably long career, retiring as
Acting Manager of Maintenance and Construction, RUSTY's expertise
and knowledge have been an invaluable and practically irreplaceable
asset for the essential functioning of San Rafael's water system;
and
WHEREAS, RUSTY's competent crew could unfailingly be relied
upon to cheerfully and capably lend a helping hand to both our Fire
Department and Public Works Department with any type of water problem,
no matter how large or small, emergency or routine;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael, in grateful acknowledgement of "RUSTY" GHILOTTI's
significant contribution to this community, affectionately expresses
sincere appreciation and warm-hearted wishes for a very long, happy
and healthy retirement.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on
Monday the 19th day of January 1976, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Mulryan
