RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE TRAINING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HIGH-
WAY PATROL
WHEREAS, The State of California Department of Highway Patrol
requires written training agreements from any agency participating in
their training programs; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of San Rafael de-
sires from time to time to participate in certain training programs
sponsored and administered by the California Department of Highway
Patrol; and
WHEREAS, resolution of the San Rafael City Council is re-
quired for the 1976/77 and 1977/78 fiscal years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael, California does hereby authorize and direct the
City Manager to sign such training agreements when required for the
fiscal years 1976/77 and 1977/78.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, Cali-
fornia hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the 1st day of March 1976,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Nixon
