A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR ACCELERATED
PUBLIC WORKS FUNDING FOR ELIGIBLE CITY PROTECTS.
WHEREAS, the Congress has passed and enacted the Accelerated
Public Works Program; and
WHEREAS, the priority emphasis of this act is to assist local
governments in various construction and capital outlay programs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael has reviewed
the various aspects of this act; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael qualifies for funding under the
guidelines established by this act;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael authorizes the City staff to prepare the necessary
applications under this act and authorizes the City Manager to act as the
City's representative on this application and to sign all necessary agree-
ments and to negotiate all necessary contracts.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on
Monday , the 2nd day of August , 1976, by the fol-
lowing vote, to wit:
