A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFPE L APPROVING THE ANNEXA-
TION TO THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS THE
"GERBER ANNEXATION"
WHEREAS, the Marin County Local Agency Formation Commission has
approved the Gerber Annexation; and
WHEREAS, this action has been approved by the San Rafael Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the resolution of the Local Agency Formation Commission
permitted the annexation to occur without hearing or notice; and
WHEREAS, property owner(s) have signed petitions formally requesting
annexation to the City of San Rafael and these petitions are attached as
Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, a formal description of the annexation is attached as
Exhibit "B";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
San Rafael, as follows:
1. That the annexation of uninhabited territory contiguous to the City
of San Rafael designated as "Gerber Annexation" be and the same hereby is approved
upon the terms contained in the petitions signed by the property owners. Said
territory is described as Exhibit "B" attached hereto.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at
a regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday the
20th day of September , 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Nixon and Acting Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
