RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT, EAST SAN RAFAEL
DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 2, CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL, MARIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, by resolution adopted on the 19th day of December,
1974, the City Council of the City of San Rafael directed the readvertise-
ment for construction bids in East San Rafael Drainage Assessment District
No. 2, City of San Rafael, Marin County, California, and that the time
fixed for receiving sealed bids or proposals was the 16th day of January,
1975; and
WHEREAS, Notice Inviting Sealed Bids was duly published in the
time and manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, all bids having been publicly opened, examined and
declared pertaining to the doing of the work and improvements described
in the Resolution of Intention, as amended, which Resolution of Inten-
tion, as amended, is hereby expressly referred to for a description of
said improvements, and for all other particulars relative to the pro-
ceedings under said Resolution of Intention, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Marin
County, California, on the 4th day of November, 1974, ordered the im-
provements and acquisitions to be made in said assessment district;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael, Marin County, California, hereby rejects all of
said proposals or bids, except that herein mentioned, and hereby awards
the contract for said improvements to the lowest responsible bidder, to
wit: ROBERT 0. VALENTINE, an individual doing business as
VALENTINE ERECTORS and VALENTINE CORPORATION
at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of San Rafael; and
IT IS HEREBY DIRECTED that the City Clerk of the City of San
Rafael publish a Notice of Award of Contract.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
Marin County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on
the 24th day of February, 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
