RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
FRED C. ROBBINS, JR.
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has been the recipient of the
multifaceted talents of Fred C. Robbins, Jr. since 1963; and
WHEREAS, his services have been offered to the City of San
Rafael in the capacity of Planning Commissioner (1963-1969), City Council-
man (1969-1970) and City Attorney (1970-1975); and
WHEREAS, in each of these capacities Fred C. Robbins, Jr. has
extended to the community discerning and judicious counsel on an array
of complex municipal problems; and
WHEREAS, it has been the decision of Fred C. Robbins, Jr. to
decline the opportunity of continuing to compete for the office of City
Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council
does hereby express its sincere appreciation to Fred C. Robbins, Jr. for
his twelve years of public participation on behalf of this community; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council ex-
presses the wish for continued prosperity and professional enrichment on
his return to the private practice of law.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, here-
by certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on
Monday, the 3rd day of March, 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Miskimen
