RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO ALAN KAY
WHEREAS, since September, 1969, Alan Kay has diligently and
faithfully served as a member of the San Rafael Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Kay's extensive background and experi-
ence in the field of building construction has been an invaluable asset
to the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Kay possesses the tenacious desire to "get
the facts" and was always sincere and assiduous in the process of
rendering a decision; and
WHEREAS, as an advocate of good planning Commissioner Kay was
instrumental in the initiation and implementation of higher design
standards and is to be commended for his active participation in the
development of San Rafael's General Phan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby accepts the resignation of Alan Kay and extends
to him wholehearted appreciation for his generous contribution of
time and effort for the betterment of this community.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on
Monday , the 7th day of April 1975, by the following
vote, to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN• Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
