WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael has authorized
the following named individuals to execute for and in behalf of the City of
San Rafael, a public entity established under the laws of the State of
California, applications and documents for the purpose of obtaining finan-
cial assistance under the Federal Civil Defense Act of 1950, as amended,
(Public Law 920, 81st Congress 50 V.S.C. 2251-2297).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council
that the above named individuals are duly authorized to execute applica-
tions and documents for the purpose of obtaining financial assistance under
the Federal Civil Defense Act.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
on Monday
