A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
DECLARING ITS INTENT TO EXTEND SERVICES TO THE SAN RAFAEL
MEADOWS AREA IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING AN AFFIRMATIVE VOTE
ON ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, annexation proceedings concerning annexation of the San
Rafael Meadows area to the City of San Rafael have been commenced; and
WHEREAS, one of the primary reasons for these annexation proceedings
is to obtain a higher level of services to the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael will, upon an affirmative vote for annexation, extend on the day
following the election police and fire services to the community; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that:
1. All non-resident fees for Recreation classes will be withdrawn
in respect to those residents within the area.
2. All public works services shall be extended to the area.
3. The City will work with the Pacific Gas & Electric Company
to determine the possibility of establishing a passive recre-
ation area on their properties.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday
the 2nd day of June , 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
