RESOLUTION FIXING FEES FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SWIMMING POOLS
WHEREAS, Section 12,32.020 of the San Rafael Municipal Code provides that
any person desiring to construct a swimming pool shall, at the time of filing an
application therefor, pay a fee, which fee shall be as setforth by resolution of the
City Council: and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to set the fees referred to in said
Section 12.32.020.
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS RESOLVED that any person desiring a permit for con-
struction of a swimming pool shall, at the time of filing an application therefor,
pay a fee as required in this resolution as follows:
For construction of a private swimming pool $ 150.00
For construction of a public swimming pool $ 175.00
The aforementioned fees include all electrical, plumbing and mechanical work neces-
sary to construct a complete swimming pool, provided the work is all under the super-
vision and is the responsibility of the applicant. Work not the responsibility of
the applicant shall pay fees as spcified elsewhere in the San Rafael Municipal Code.
This aforementioned fee shall not include fees for grading, excavating or
filling, retaining walls, fences, pool structures or other related work.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 2nd day of June 1975, by the following
vote, to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN : None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
