RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
IN CONNECTION WITH THE RENAMING OF OLD LUCAS
VALLEY ROAD TO CANYON OAK DRIVE
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael, on
the 10th day of June, 1975, recommended the renaming of Old Lucas Valley
Road, from Canyon Oak Drive east to Lucas Valley Road, to Canyon Oak Drive.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael
determined that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare
required the change of street name, and that the change of street name
will eliminate confusion.
WHEREAS, the matter came on regularly for consideration by the
City Council of the City of San Rafael on the 7th day of July ,
1975;
WHEREAS, evidence, both oral and documentary, was produced and
good cause appearing therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOVED that Old Lucas Valley Road, from
Canyon Oak Drive east to Lucas Valley Road, be renamed to Canyon Oak Drive.
Said street name change shall be effective immediately.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
San Rafael held on the
following vote, to -wit:
7th day of July
1975, by the
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Nixon
