A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT
BEEN MADE IN RESPECT TO THE SAN RAFAEL MEADOWS
ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council has set the time of 5:00 p . m .
on the 5th day of August, 1975 as the time to hear protests against the annexa-
tion of that territory designated as "San Rafael Meadows Annexation"; and
WHEREAS, this hearing was held in compliance with Sections 35120 and
35121 of the Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, Section 35121.1 of the Government Code of the State of
California requires that a determination be made by the City Council as to whether
or not a majority protest has or has not been made; and
WHEREAS, the protests which have been received do not constitute a
majority in assessed valuation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council
that a majority protest has not been registered in respect to the annexation of that
territory designated as the "San Rafael Meadows Annexation"
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adjourne
adopted at an regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the
5th day of August , 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Nixon
