RESOLUTION NO. 5009
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING
OF A LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf
of the City of San Rafael a lease or agreement with
PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY FOR INSTALLATION QF-GAS—
SERVICE
F GAS
SERVICE PIPE AT THE ALBERT PARK COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTER
A copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part
hereof.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced

hereinafter called Customer, has requested Pacific Gas and Electric Company, hereinafter called Pacific,
606 "B" Street,__San__Rafael
to perform the hereinafter -described work at_____________________ _ _ ________.___.______________________________,.______.____.__.

Pacific will perform said work and furnish all necessary labor, appliances, materials and facilities re-
quired therefor, subject to the following conditions:
1. Said work shall be as follows:
IDescribe hereunder in detail the materials and facilities to be furnished and/or work to be done. For each facility installed,
specifically indicate whether ownership shall vest in Pacific or Customer upon completion of work. If more space is
required use other side and attach any necessary drawings.)
Install 212' - 3" Pls. "A" L.P. service pipe in the location shown
on the attached sketch. Ownership of the first 35' of 3" service
pipe extending from property line to "point of delivery" and meter,
service regulators, valves and piping at "meter location" shall vest
in P.G.&E.
Ownership of 177' of 3" service pipe from "point of delivery" to
"meter location" shall vest in Customer or in succeeding owners of
the land on which the service pipe is installed.
Customer hereby grants to P.G.&E. a right-of-way and easement for
the 35' of service pipe to be owned by P.G.&E. Customer agrees not
to erect any structure or drill any well within five (5) feet of said
service pipe.
Estimated cost to install 3" gas service of 177' = $853.00
2. Whenever part or all of said work is to be furnished or performed upon property other than that
of Customer, Customer shall first procure from the owners thereof all rights-of-way and/or permits necessary
therefor in form satisfactory to Pacific and without cost to it.
