RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
OF ITS INTENTION TO PASS AN ORDINANCE SETTING NEW BAIL
SCHEDULES FOR CERTAIN VEHICLE AND MUNICIPAL CODE ORDINANCE
VIOLATIONS
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of San Rafael to pass an Ordinance revising the present bail
schedule of the City of San Rafael as it pertains to expired meter
citations to bring it into conformity with the bail schedule for
overtime parking, and
WHEREAS, said bail schedule has to be approved by the
Judges of the Municipal Court,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael, on approval of the amendment of the bail
schedule as it pertains to bail for expired meter violations be
increased to Three Dollars ($3.00) so as to equal the bail pro-
visions of overtime parking, intends to pass an Ordinance increasing
bail for expired meters alone to Three Dollars ($3.00) to conform to
the bail for overtime parking cited above.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby requests that the Judges of the Municipal Court
approve the bail schedule as modified and attached hereto and marked
Exhibit "A".

by certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City held on the 25th day of August
